Redemption Instructions
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Play Store app; or go to https://play.google.com/store?code (for laptops and computers).
  2. Click on your profile icon on the top-right and select "Payments and subscriptions".
  3. Click on "Redeem gift code".
  4. Enter the gift code that you were sent via email by Prepaid24.
  5. The gift code value will be added to your Google Play balance.

NB: The email address that displays when clicking on your profile icon will be the Google account that gets credited with the gift code amount.

Please note that gift codes purchased through Prepaid24 can only be used in South Africa. Redemption will not be successful if:

  • You are trying to redeem it outside of South Africa;
  • You are using a VPN;
  • Your device’s settings are not set to South Africa; or
  • You are trying to redeem it on a non-South African account.
