Set Up Your Prepaid24 Beneficiary

Choose your bank to see the steps for saving Prepaid24 as a beneficiary on your Banking App or Online Banking:

ABSA Banking App

  1. Login to your ABSA App & click on “Pay”.
  2. Select “Pay new beneficiary”.
  3. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Beneficiary name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Account number: “4074826482”.
    • Branch code: ”632005”.
    • The Beneficiary Reference is your Prepaid24 order reference & Your Reference is your own description of the payment.
    • Choose your payment notification type/method.
  4. After filling in all the details, click on “Next” (If you have an iPhone and you’re on the iOS app, also confirm the details captured & click on “Next” and then “Pay beneficiary”).
  5. You can then choose to continue with payment right away.

ABSA Online Banking

  1. Login to your ABSA Online Banking (https://ib.absa.co.za/absa-online/login.jsp?lang=en)
  2. Select “Beneficiaries” in the side navigation & click “Add beneficiary”.
  3. Accept the verification request sent to your registered device.
  4. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Beneficiary name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Account number: “4074826482”.
    • Branch code: ”632005”.
    • The Beneficiary Reference is your Prepaid24 order reference & Your Reference is your own description of the payment.
    • Fill in your payment notification type/method details.
  5. After filling in all the details, click on “Next”.
  6. Confirm the beneficiary details & click “Confirm”.
  7. Click “Done” or “Pay” to continue.

Go to ABSA's Online Banking

Capitec App

  1. Login to your Capitec App.
  2. Click on “Pay Beneficiary” and then “Add beneficiary”.
  3. Choose “Bank account” and be sure to enter the following information correctly:
    • Beneficiary name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Account number: “1050768370”.
    • Click on “Choose bank”, scroll slightly down and choose “Capitec Business”. The branch code gets filled in automatically (450105). *NB: If you see “470010” as the branch code, it means you’ve chosen “Capitec Bank” and not “Capitec Business”, which will cause your payments to Prepaid24 to fail. Please ensure that you choose “Capitec Business”.
    • The “Beneficiary statement description” will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
    • “My statement description” is your preferred description of the payment.
  4. Choose your payment notification preference and click on “Done” after filling in all the details.
  5. Click on “Add” at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Enter your Remote PIN to approve the beneficiary being added.
  7. Click on “Done” (or “Pay now” if you want to make your payment right away).

Capitec Online Banking

  1. Sign into your Capitec Online Banking (https://direct.capitecbank.co.za/ibank/)
  2. Click on “Go to payments menu” and then “Pay a beneficiary”.
  3. Choose “Create my own beneficiary”.
  4. Under “Beneficiary details” enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Beneficiary name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Account number: “1050768370”.
    • Click on “Choose bank”, scroll slightly down and choose “Capitec Business”. The branch code gets filled in automatically (450105). *NB: If you see “470010” as the branch code, it means you’ve chosen “Capitec Bank” and not “Capitec Business”, which will cause your payments to Prepaid24 to fail. Please ensure that you choose “Capitec Business”.
    • The “Description” will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
    • Choose your Payment notification type
  5. After filling in all the details, click on “Add this beneficiary to my list” at the bottom.
  6. Go to your Capitec banking app and enter your Remote PIN to approve the beneficiary being added.

Go to Capitec's Online Banking

FNB Banking App

  1. Login to your FNB App.
  2. Click on the 3 lines at the top-left and select “Payments”. Then click “Recipients”.
  3. Click on “Add Recipient/Bill” & choose the “Specify Account Details” option.
  4. Click on “Enter Branch Code” and enter “261050”.
  5. Select FNB Bank as the Bank of the recipient.
  6. Enter the following details:
    • Recipient Name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Account Number: “62240938003”.
  7. Click on “Continue”.
  8. Add your Own Reference description and under “Recipient Ref” enter your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
  9. Click on “Continue” and add the Proof of Payment details if needed.
  10. Confirm the details and click on “Confirm”.
  11. You can then click “Finish” or “Pay Now” if you want to pay right away.

FNB Online Banking

  1. Go to www.fnb.co.za and login to your Online Banking at the top-right.
  2. Select the “Pay” tab.
  3. Click on “More Options” on the left side and select the “+” or “+ Add” icon.
  4. Select the account that you want to pay from.
  5. The type of recipient you’re setting up will be “An Account”. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Recipient Name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Choose FNB Bank as the “Bank” (The Branch Code is “261050”).
    • Account Number: “62240938003”.
    • “Their reference” will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
    • Choose your proof of payment method.
  6. After filling in all the details, click on “Add Recipient”.
  7. Review the information you’ve added and click on “Edit” to change something or “Confirm” to proceed.
  8. Enter the OTP sent and click on “Submit”.
  9. You can then click “Finish” or “Pay Recipient Now” if you want to pay right away.

Go to FNB's Online Banking

Nedbank App

  1. Login to your Nedbank App.
  2. Click on “Recipients” at the bottom.
  3. Click on the green person icon next to the search bar at the top-right to Add a recipient.
  4. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Recipient name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Bank name: Nedbank
    • Account number: “1216135916”.
    • Branch code: “121617
    • The Recipient’s reference will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
  5. After filling in all the details, click on “Add”.

Nedbank Online Banking

  1. Login to your Nedbank Online Banking (https://secured.nedbank.co.za/#/login)
  2. Select “Recipients” & then “Add new recipient” in the right-hand corner.
  3. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Recipient name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Bank name: Nedbank
    • Account number: “1216135916”.
    • Branch code: “121617”.
    • The Recipient’s reference will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
  4. After filling in all the details, click on “Save recipient”.
  5. You’ll receive a message that you should read carefully and then approve and accept it.

Go to Nedbank's Online Banking

Standard Bank App

  1. Login to your Standard Bank App.
  2. On the home screen, select “Transact” and then “Pay”.
  3. Select “Add a beneficiary” & then “A beneficiary”.
  4. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Account holder name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Bank: Standard Bank
    • Branch code: “050017”.
    • Account number: “281673195”.
    • “Their reference” will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
  5. After filling in all the details, click on “Review” at the top-right.
  6. Confirm the beneficiary details and click on “Confirm” at the top-right.
  7. Enter the OTP that gets sent.
  8. You can choose to select “Pay” and pay right away.

Standard Bank Online Banking

  1. Sign into your Standard Bank Online Banking (https://bankonline.sboff.com/signin)
  2. Go to the “Transact” page & under “Manage”, select “Add beneficiary”.
  3. Enter the relevant information and the following details as indicated below:
    • Beneficiary name: “Prepaid24”.
    • Bank: Standard Bank
    • Branch code: “050017
    • Account number: “281673195”.
    • The Beneficiary reference will be your Prepaid24 order reference used when you make a payment.
  4. After filling in all the details, click on ”Next”.
  5. Confirm the beneficiary details and click on “Confirm”.
  6. Enter the OTP sent and click on “Submit”.

Go to Standard Bank's Online Banking

For all of the below-mentioned banks, EFT payments should be made to Prepaid24's ABSA Bank Account (details are given below):

  • Discovery Bank
  • Tyme Bank
  • African Bank
  • Investec
  • Bidvest
  • Mercantile
  • Bank of Athens
